Yamaha U1-SILENT Piano in White Polyester

The U1 piano feature a new scale design, delivering rich, resonant tone with evenly balance timbre over the entire range of the keyboard. The ribs and soundboard are crafted from the finest timbers and accurately configured for optimum sound reproduction, while new backposts provide increased strength and improved resonance. Hammers on the U Series upright pianos are crafted from select materials, chosen for their durability, while the precise piano action provides exceptional control over tone. The unique soft-shut fall system prevents the lid slamming onto the keyboard or the pianist's fingers.

The U1-SILENT silent piano is identical to the U1-SILENT Yamaha acoustic piano except for the silent system for private playing of the instrument through headphones. Also being MIDI compatible, it is possible to control other electronic musical devices with the sensitivity of an acoustic piano.
